Full bath re-enamelling and resurfacing in Stormontfield, carried out at your home and guaranteed for a year.
- Resurfacing from £350

- An original cast iron bath that needs restoring

For landlords and businesses
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
Bath re-enamelling in Stormontfield, done in place
Re-enamelling works especially well on cast iron and steel, and acrylic baths can be resurfaced too. You end up with a smooth, glossy surface. Typical jobs include a roll-top that’s seen better days and an old resurfacing that’s failing, across acrylic baths, Victorian roll-tops and cast iron baths.
You are covered after we leave: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we explain what it covers before booking.

Common problems we fix in Stormontfield
Many baths we resurface have simply been well used, and only the surface is worn. Underneath, a cast iron or steel bath is typically as strong as ever.
Most people contact us when they notice one of these:
- A coloured bath you want in white
- Stains that will not shift
- Wear marks under the taps
- A coating lifting around the plughole

How it works
It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, cover and mask the work area, and get on with the job, which normally takes a full day. If anything looks different from your pictures, we’ll talk to you before going ahead.
- We sheet, mask and ventilate the room.
- Old sealant is cut out and the bath is deep cleaned.
- We repair chips, rust spots and pitting.
- The surface is keyed and primed for the new finish.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures until the day after.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
How to get a price
For most jobs, pictures are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
Advice
What bath re-enamelling costs
Prices start from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We look at:
- How many areas need work
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The colour and finish to match
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Photos let us give you the exact figure.
Send pictures for a quote
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- One picture of the entire bath
- Natural light rather than flash
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- What it’s made of, if you know
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.
Why repair rather than replace?
A refit takes several trades and several days. Resurfacing is one technician, normally in a day, with the bath ready the following day. Our bath re-enamelling starts from £350. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it.

Aftercare tips
How the surface is treated afterwards matters:
- Do not let dyes or oils sit on the finish
- Keep suction mats out of the bath
- A quick wipe after use keeps limescale away
- Use washing-up liquid and a soft cloth
The first few days matter most: let it cure fully, then use mild cleaners only. From then on, avoid abrasives and suction mats.
Do not try to scrub a worn bath back to shine. It just wears the enamel further.
DIY kit or professional repair?
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

What your bath is made of matters
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it needs firm support underneath. Cracks are strengthened from behind before the front is finished.
Roll-top and period baths
Freestanding roll-tops can be done inside and out, and the outside can be refinished too.
