Need shower tray repair in Perth?

Shower tray repair in Perth, done in place

Every crack has a cause, and we find it first. If the tray moves, the support is fixed or flagged before we repair it, so the repair lasts. Common call-outs are for scuffs and light scratches and snagging damage in a new bathroom, across enamelled steel, stone resin and cast iron.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard.

Stained shower tray resurfaced to clean white, before and after

The process

We turn up when we said we would, introduces themselves and checks the damage against your photos first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. The work itself takes a few hours, or most of the day to resurface the whole tray, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. We ensure the tray doesn’t flex and look for the cause of any crack.
  2. The damaged area, or the entire tray, is cleaned and prepared.
  3. Chips and cracks are filled, reinforced and sanded level.
  4. We colour-match the repair, or spray a new finish across the whole tray.
  5. Once cured, usually by the day after, you can use the shower.

Before we arrive

  • Have a window or extractor fan available
  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

Advice

For landlords and businesses

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.

For anyone letting property in or around Perth, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send photos for each one and we will come back with a combined price.

What shower tray repair costs

Repairs from £95. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:

  • How much damage there is
  • What the surface is made of
  • What kind of damage it is
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off

We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Send pictures for a quote

Most quotes are done from photos alone. To make it quick:

  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • One picture of the whole shower tray
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus

Upload photos of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, with your PH1 postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

Repairing versus replacing in Perth

Trays sit under the screen and tiles, so taking one out disturbs a lot. A repair keeps everything as it is. Our shower tray repair starts from £95. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Why Perth clients choose us

  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • One visit for most repairs
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

When to call us in Perth

The waste is a common starting point for cracks, because that’s where the tray is weakest and the fitting puts pressure on it.

It’s worth getting a quote if you see:

  • Chipped corners or rims
  • Staining and dullness across the tray
  • Chips or cracks by the plughole
  • Scratches in the surface

  • How your room will be protected
  • Who will actually do the work
  • What the guarantee covers, and for how long

Choosing a repair company

Questions from Perth

Is there a call-out fee?

There is no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.

Can tenants book a repair?

Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.

Can pets and children be at home?

Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day, so the repair isn’t disturbed while it cures.

Will it make a mess?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.

Can a cracked shower tray be repaired?

Frequently. If the tray moves, the support needs fixing first.

Are you a vetted contractor?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Do you redo the sealant?

Yes. Add it to your quote and we will do both on one visit.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

Yes. We carry out repairs for householders, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses in Perth.

Repairs by material

Ceramic

Ceramic gives a hard, high-gloss surface. They chip and crack from impact, and we match the gloss when we repair them.

Stone resin

Stone resin trays are popular because they’re rigid and low-profile. A flat, solid base is essential, and we match repairs to the surface finish.

DIY kit or professional repair?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
