Bath repair at your home in M2
Most of our bath repairs take a few hours, and you can generally bathe again the following day. There’s no need to book a plumber or tiler, because nothing is disconnected. We work on cast iron enamel, acrylic and whirlpool & spa baths, and common reasons people get in touch are a cracked acrylic bath and snagging damage from a refit.
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and tidy away. Plan for a morning or an afternoon. Before we go, we’ll explain when it can be used and what to avoid for the first few days.
- First, the area is cleaned and any loose enamel or rust is removed.
- The chip or crack is filled, then sanded level with the bath.
- The colour is mixed on the spot to match your bath.
- Finish coats go on, then the repair is polished to blend in.
- Once it has cured, typically by the following day, the bath is ready to use.
What you will pay
Our bath repair starts from £95. We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for M2. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Landlords, agents and businesses in M2
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, so there’s no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.
How to care for the repair
A little care keeps the finish looking good. Our advice:
- Fix dripping taps early to stop staining and limescale
- If an acrylic bath flexes, have its feet adjusted
- Have new chips seen to early
- Avoid scourers, wire wool and gritty cream cleaners
Don’t leave razors, cans or hair grips in the bath, because they can mark the enamel. And fix dripping taps promptly.
Rust spreads under enamel faster than most people expect. Left for months, a small chip can grow into a large rust patch, so early repair keeps the cost down.
Repairs by material
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid, and frequently freestanding. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour-matched, in much the same way.
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it needs firm support underneath. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
What affects the price in M2
Prices start from £95. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we look at:
- The material
- How easy the damage is to reach
- How many areas need work
- Whether we combine several jobs
A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Quotes from your pictures
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- The material, if you know it
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- Where you are, by postcode
Send us pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your M2 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
